Ok folks at Pops, we're new residents in the area and we claimed you as our new pizza place. It's worth the drive from our place. Great pizza! UPDATE.... Whenever my wife and I traveled back home to NY we enjoyed having the best oven toasted Italian sub in the world at Picnic Pizza.. We thought that till we had Pop's! This sub is the king of flavor! Stop reading and go get one. Look at it, tell me it doesn't make your mouth water.
This place has the absolute best pizza. Over the years my wife and I have tried just about every place in the Gainesville and Lake City areas and none have come close to Pop Pops. Their burgers and hot dogs are great too. I’m done with overpriced fast food and chain restaurants that serve nothing but poor quality corporate slop. I much rather support a local business that takes pride in their food.

Man. I didn't expect it to be this good. The mozzarella sticks were some of the best I've had. Both the Hawaiian and cheese were great! The workers were awesome as well. Don't miss out on this place.
It's always a great experience at Pop Pops. The food is always amazing, the staff is top notch!! It's a great place to dine in (great atmosphere) or take out. We'll definitely be back!!!
Was my 1st time here. And even talked to the owner. They are all so friendly. Love small town places like this. Food was spot on. Mango habenero Wings and a pizza amazing. They even had celery and blue cheese(something many wing places dont serve sadly enough). Keep up the good work guys. Will definitely be back!! 100%. Thanks
So yeah.... hands down the best hidden gem in the entire state of Florida, no joke. Home made Mozz sticks so good you could eat a dozen, the best BBQ chicken pizza you'll ever eat! (coming from a New Haven pizza local 👀) Wife had the eggplant parm and was in heaven. Everything is made fresh and brought out steaming hot Not much else to say here but stay perfect! Damn fine food and no doubt will be back a lot. Gone back a few more times since update, still amazing and nothing's changed!!
This place is the best kept secret around. They are all super friendly, everything's homemade and the food is excellent! I've had several different items and they are all top notch. And whatever you do don't leave without a homemade cannoli
They've recently undergone a rehiring, but the owner and staff are all awesome. I've had the wings (including peach habanero ❤️ which was recommended but not listed on the menu), a couple of pizzas (I'm in love with the blanca!), and a loaded calzone that I thought was tasty but not particularly special. My favorite is definitely the wings and blanca. They are happy to mix and customize wing flavors! If you want recommendations, ask the staff. If you want to do carry-out later in the evening, ordering online is recommended. Especially on the weekends, when they are slammed!
Traveling in the area and luckily found this gem! The food takes a bit, but well worth the wait. The meat calzone was the best I’ve ever had. The chicken salad was big and delicious. Don’t go for the atmosphere, go for the food! The staff was very friendly and welcoming as well. Highly recommended.
